Post-treatment is an essential part of supplying metal components that meet precise performance, protection, and appearance demands. Here at European Springs & Pressings Ireland, we have a team of engineers who partner closely with customers to choose the ideal finish for each requirement.
We have in-house facilities for stress relieving and can also provide hardening and tempering of carbon steels to enhance spring performance.
We perform Beryllium Copper heat treatment in-house.
For sensitive or delicate components, we supply bespoke packaging using vacuum-formed trays.
We generally conduct rapid prototyping later in the design process, providing an early, scaled version of a product for manufacturing. For example, we create prototype springs to enable design evaluation before final production, providing customers with a physical sample of the required component.
Although many describe design thinking as a five-stage process, the journey is far from linear. In engineering, we eagerly revisit each stage to refine our outcomes.
By empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing, we regularly uncover fresh and innovative solutions to the challenges we face.
Prototyping empowers us to deliver exactly what our customers need. By developing, refining, and rapidly producing designs, we bring ideas to life as physical models for hands-on evaluation.
Experience the rapid progress achieved when we combine virtual and physical prototyping. Our approach swiftly takes your project from concept to preliminary engineering, applying innovative tools that fuel expert design. By building a virtual model first, we quickly spot and tackle potential flaws. These interactive prototypes showcase how your ideas evolve, paving the way from concept to a tangible, physical prototype.
By using CAD design, we creatively blend mathematical modelling and simulation, always keeping manufacturing needs in mind. This thoughtful approach empowers us to develop innovative designs that lead to successful final products.
Client involvement during the prototyping phase allows the product to be reviewed prior to completion and encourages valuable feedback. Collaboration between the client and the engineer supports continuous improvement and adds greater detail to the final design. Misinterpretations can occur, and prototypes help ensure all specifications are met. They also reduce human error, enabling clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders by demonstrating how the product will function.
With nearly 70 years of expertise, European Springs & Pressings Ireland proudly delivers top-quality spring and pressings solutions. Powered by advanced technology and an experienced team, we are passionate about exceeding your expectations with every project.
And even if we don’t have exactly the tool we need, European Springs’ in house technology enables us rapidly to design and make complex tools, allowing us to offer more competitive prices.
